About the KFBPA:

The Klein Forest Band Parents Association (KFBPA) consists of 20 parents who are dedicated in providing volunteer hours towards the Klein Forest Bands. The association helps the bands upon the requests of the Klein Forest Band directors. All KFBPA members began with volunteers wanting to help the bands by providing physical support, skills, and technical support that would develop a stronger band. On a yearly basis, KFBPA has positions that become available to those parents that are willing to dedicate a little time towards their child’s band. These positions are subject to availability by those members of none returning or graduating band students.

There is nothing more rewarding than to find a way to devote your time, energy and compassion to help your Klein Forest Band. From chaperoning, selling programs at the football games, to providing the band students’ a glass of water on those hot days. There are countless of ways to help the band students. By volunteering, you will receive the gratitude of helping a band student achieve his or her goal. These goals may not be big, but with your help you will make a difference in the lives of many band students including your child.

KFBPA Mission Statement:

To provide a service dedicated to the promotion and welfare of the Klein Forest High School Band to the best of the associations’ ability by promoting volunteer parental involvement, equipment, and funding. The KFBPA will assist the band directors and school authorities in the development of an outstanding band program. The KFBPA will support the band program and will avoid actions which would interfere with school policies. The association will assist in band functions when requested by the Band Directors. **The KFBPA will provide a total of 5 grants for graduating senior band applicants that qualify for such grant.

**All grants are subject to and approved by the Klein Forest High School Administration and its Councilors. Said grants are given to subject graduating seniors solely upon the decision and approval of the KF Administration and not by band facilitators.
