If you make a reservation and do not attend, you will be charged for the cost of the unused meal. The reservation form is available here. CiCi's Pizza Fundraiser

Posted February 5, 2008
Klein Forest has announced that the Spring Open House will be Thursday, February 7 from 7:00 - 8:30. Instead of following the student's schedule like last semester, administration would like all organizations to perform for the general public. The band has an ensemble concert scheduled for next Tuesday. Instead of having two days of performances next week, we are moving the ensemble concert to coincide with Open House. We hope everyone can attend and hear some great chamber music in this somewhat informal setting.

ALL BAND PARENTS!!! Would you like to make a difference in the life of your child and other Klein Forest Band students? The Klein Forest Band Parents Association (KFBPA) has an opportunity for you. We will host our second Bar-B-Que fundraiser for 2007-2008, on March 15, 2008 at the Cutten Road Wal-Mart. In December we held a Bar-B-Que fundraiser in which Wal-Mart than matched with an additional $1000.00. We are striving to have this success again this year. The volunteer times needed for a successful event is 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 12:30 – 5:00 PM we are looking for adults and band students to help. Band students can earn community service hours, which looks nice on a college application. If you are not able to come out, feel free to donate drinks (canned soda and water), funds to purchase meat, chips (individual bags) or paper products (napkins, take out containers, cutlery). All donations are appreciated and helps reduce our expenses. Interested parties, please contact Linda Burnett. Tamale fundraiser

Posted January 24, 2008
Calling all parents, The spring band trip this year will be on April 18 – 20, 2008. We will be playing at the South Coast Music Festival in Corpus Christi, TX. And staying at the Port Royal condominiums on Mustang Island. This is an amazing property! The reason for this letter: WE NEED CHAPERONES!!! Those who have chaperoned these trips with the band in the past realize the minimal commitment involved. We have great kids. For the twenty people who chaperoned the New York trip last year, this year the trip will only cost $288 (a bit more if less than six occupancy). This is far less that the $1850 for the trip last year. We need to know if you are available to help our band by Thursday, January 31. If you already know who you will be rooming with, please provide that information also. New Photo Galleries now on-line
