Band Registration Information

Greetings Klein Forest Band Members and Families!

This email is to remind you that Band Registration Day for the upcoming school year is being held this Saturday, July 30th between 9 am to 2 pm in the Klein Forest Band Hall (Auditorium if the AC isn't fixed by Saturday!!). Registration takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on how many people are in line. If you come at a peak time, you may have to wait a bit before beginning the registration process.

An adult must accompany the band/guard member during registration.

You will visit multiple "stations" where several things will happen during registration:

1. You will be filing out important forms (parent signatures required) and updating contact information.
2. Receiving information about the Parent Organization and how to volunteer
3. Receive all of your music
4. Getting fitted for your uniform (Guard members will be measured at this time for costumes)
5. Getting lockers/instruments assigned
6. Take care of financial requirements:
   1. Order band supplies (Water jugs/dot books/band shirt/locks/lyres/etc) Payable to KFPBA and Music & Arts
   2. Order band shoes, tote bags, garment bags. Payable to "Totes Unlimited"
   3. Pay for instrument rental. New this year payable to "KISD"
   4. Pay for and/or work out payment plan for payment of Band Fees. Payable to "KFBPA"

   IF NOT PAYING BY CASH, PLEASE BRING AT LEAST 4 BLANK CHECKS WITH YOU, payments will need to be made directly to KISD, KFBPA, Music and Arts, and Totes Unlimited

7. Meet the Directors and Staff and get your questions answered!

If you cannot make it to the Registration Day, you must contact a Director to set up a time to go through the process.
